Living Spaces: Elephants and Their Landscapes

Big Life Africa

Spirit, a bull elephant monitored and protected by Big Life Foundation rangers, strides out in front of a setting sun following several weeks of good rains. Poaching used to be a problem in this part of the Chyulu Hills, but following years of sustained and dedicated ranger patrols, elephants like this magnificent bull now feel safe.
